Michela is passionate about tackling one of the most significant challenges of our generation, climate change, through new and innovative strategies as exemplified by her undergraduate thesis work which explored international security and civil instability in nations through the lens of climate change and extreme weather impacts.
Focusing on systemic impacts and transformative change in climate and energy systems, Michela has found Greentown Labs to be an ideal venue to collaborate on climate change solutions by driving the advancement, deployment, and commercialization of resource efficiency technologies. As the Strategic Partnerships Manager, Michela is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the Greentown Launch program.
Greentown Launch is Greentown Labs’ internal accelerator designed to catalyze partnerships between corporate strategics and cleantech startups addressing the world’s toughest cleantech challenges. To date, Michela has managed Launch programs for Schneider Electric, Saint-Gobain, and BASF, catalyzing partnerships and investment for several startups.
Michela graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a concentration in International Environmental Policy. Previously she worked to address climate change and sustainability at Climate Action Business Association and Seventh Generation through marketing, activism, and product development efforts.
