Vice President of Operations
Joubin is the Vice President of Operations at Greentown Labs. He oversees the delivery of member services to the 100+ startup members and manages facilities operations for the company’s 100,000 square feet lab, wet lab, office, and event space across the three-building campus. His goal is to ensure our member experiences are as smooth and efficient as possible.
Prior to Greentown Labs, Joubin was the head of Operations at French Tech Hub, a European growth accelerator, helping technology startups and small & medium sized companies grow their footprint in the US. In this role, Joubin built and grew the operations and administrative services practice to serve more than 100 clients, in addition to managing internal operations for the company.
Earlier in his career, Joubin led the Quality Control department at an OEM lighting manufacturing company in Pennsylvania, where he also oversaw the R&D lab and spearheaded the development of a variety of energy efficiency products based on LED technology.
Joubin holds a master’s degree in BioMedical Engineering from McGill University and has worked as a research assistant and later project manager for Montreal Neurological Institute and its spin-off startup NeuoRx, providing medical image analysis services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Joubin lives with his wife Rana and their two young children in Cambridge. When they give him some breathing room, he can be found challenging himself on a new recipe in his kitchen, playing the Persian setar, building furniture, or working on yet another home improvement project.
