Reception and Facility Coordinator
As the Reception and Facility Coordinator, Jonathan is responsible for managing the Reception desk, assisting with visitor check-in, overseeing all incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring that our space is always welcoming.
Jonathan was born on Nantucket Island off the coast of Massachusetts — the furthest point East in the United States — to a blue collar family. He worked for six years in fine dining as a cook, ceviche jeffe, and chef d’garde manger while in school. He studied political science in Upstate New York, far from the warmth of the beloved Red Sox. He minored in writing, which makes him one of those lovely people who point out grammar mistakes. Everyone loves those people, right?
He’s lived in six towns across four states, and traveled to a whole lot more. Since highschool he’s been to Costa Rica, Canada, the Bahamas, the People’s Republic of China, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and England.
Previous to this Jonathan was working on a congressional campaign in Rhode Island and as a freelance writer/editor in Europe. He’s a fan of a lot of things and generally a people-person, so feel free to stop by and chat with him. Jonathan is a big reader of fiction, political theory, history, and the news. He can obviously gush about food endlessly, he has an appreciation of the arts, cinema, television, and strategy games, and even learned how to brew alcohol when he was sixteen.
In addition to absolute fluency in English, he speaks varying fragments of Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, German, and Chinese.
