Carey Ann Comeau
Senior Manager of Wet Lab Operations
Carey Ann joins the team as the Senior Manager, Wet Lab Operations, on the Operations team. In this role, Carey Ann supports all users of the wet lab by ensuring they have all of the resources, equipment, and training needed to safely and successfully complete their work. She also aids in the development of current and prospective corporate sponsors who provide invaluable resources to the wet lab member community.
Prior to Greentown Labs, Carey Ann was a research assistant and the coordinator of a research lab at the T. H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. She developed her enthusiasm for laboratory management while facilitating the launch of a new research laboratory from scratch (minus a few 20+ year old centrifuges!) and found that aiding many scientists in their pursuit of successful research gave her an immense sense of satisfaction. Given her passion for science and love of the natural world, Carey Ann is delighted to join Greentown Labs and to provide service and support to our members!
Carey Ann lives with her husband, Dan and their dog, Henry, up in the North Shore where they have easy access to many of the wonderful state parks in Massachusetts and throughout New England. She spends her free time managing Henry’s Instagram account, adventuring across New England, crafting, and trying out new restaurants. She is also extremely involved with the Alzheimer’s Association and is the Walk Chair for the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Andover, MA.
