Strategic Partnerships Manager, Government Relations
Bronte serves as the Strategic Partnerships Manager, Government Relations at Greentown Labs, the nation’s largest clean technology incubator. In this role, Bronte oversees the execution of the incubator’s Government Relations strategy at the State and Federal level and liaises between Greentown Labs’ 90+ cleantech member companies and its vast network of public sector partners. Bronte also provides in-house government affairs consulting for Greentown’s member companies and connects them with opportunities to work with government partners and other public entities. Prior to this role, Bronte served as the Executive Assistant to Greentown Labs’ CEO and was promoted to Government Relations Manager in September 2017.
In 2017, Bronte was independently awarded a grant by E2 (Environmental Entrepreneurs) to collect and amplify success stories of federal funding for cleantech innovation. To execute this, Bronte traveled across the country to meet with entrepreneurs and document the economic, national security, and environmental impact of cleantech innovations that were enabled by federal funding. After the successful completion of her fellowship project, E2 invited Bronte to join the organization as a Chapter Director and began her service in this role in December 2018.
Prior to this, Bronte worked as the Renewable Energy Generation Fellow at MassCEC. Her time there sparked her interest in clean energy development and thus has inspired her career path. Bronte interned in the DC office of Massachusetts Congresswoman Niki Tsongas where she had first hand exposure to the manifestation of federal regulations shaping and influencing the future of clean energy. While in school at Connecticut College, Bronte completed internships with a variety of nonprofits where she focused on business development, communications, and social media.
