As the Tufts University – Greentown Labs Liaison and International Partnerships Fellow, Benny is responsible for connecting Greentown Labs with its first academic sponsor, Tufts University. His goal is to create opportunities for Greentown Labs and Tufts collaboration and bring together students, professors, entrepreneurs, and thinkers from all backgrounds. His mission is to bring together those who are working to solve the world’s biggest energy and environmental challenges.

Prior to Greentown, Benny worked for an environmental consulting firm, the Cadmus Group, with a focus on solar policy and program administration. He was also an electrical engineer for a member company of Greentown Labs, Tank Utility.

Benny received his M.S. in Innovation and Management from the Gordon Institute at Tufts University and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts. During his time at Tufts, Benny completed a consulting project on international expansion for Greentown Labs and was deeply involved with the growing entrepreneurship scene.

In his free time, Benny runs a pop up restaurant out of his kitchen, loses soccer games all over Massachusetts, and goes to trivia nights at the local breweries.
