Senior Director of Partnerships
As Greentown Labs’ Senior Director of Partnerships, Nina manages current corporate relationships, builds new ones, and collaborates on the development and execution of Greentown’s long-term strategy to bring even more value to Greentown’s partners as well as to the growing Greentown community. Her personal theory of change is that we will scale sustainability, clean technology, and climate action at the pace needed through collaborations and innovations, and she is thrilled to be advancing this with Greentown.
Prior to joining Greentown, Nina acted as the Corporate Sustainability Lead for thinkstep, Americas. SoFi is thinkstep’s SaaS tool for managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data collection and reporting, and in her role, Nina was responsible for developing and managing productive partnerships with thinkstep’s SoFi clients. She wore many hats: managing a team in reaching and exceeding sales targets; bringing U.S. client feedback to thinkstep’s product management group; collaborating closely with major corporations on understanding their data processes; and implementing the SoFi software to meet these.
Nina began her career with Ceres, a nonprofit that collaborates with Fortune 500 companies and institutional investors on a range of sustainability topics. Between Ceres and thinkstep, she had the privilege of working with Sistine Solar out of Greentown, as well as working with Greentown-alum Bevi. As for academics, Nina studied English Literature at Tufts University and Oxford and received an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Nina lives in Somerville at the Brickbottom Artists Association (ask her about it!) with her husband, their funny looking cat, and their 100+ lb puppy. She collects matchboxes and bookclubs.
