WET LAB VISION

Greentown Labs recognizes cleantech and clean energy innovations are happening across sectors—not just in hardware and software!—but also in water, advanced materials, and green chemistry. That’s why we’re developing a 1,800 sq. ft. shared wet lab to support cleantech startups working in this space. The expected functionality of the wet lab is a BSL-1.

We aim for our wet lab to provide a variety of key functions by:

  • providing the space, tools and equipment startups need to conduct their experiments;
  • offering six corporate wet lab benches for larger organizations to have external testing facilities;
  • facilitating connections and collaboration opportunities between startups and corporations.
